CRS109-8G-1S-2HnD-IN usb port not working with LTE

Hi Guys, I have a Huawei E8372 that works on a hAP just fine. But when I plug it into a CRS109-8G-1S-2HnD-IN it does not register as an LTE device even though both devices are running the same firmware. Nor does it work as a PPP device on either mikrotik. Has any one had luck getting the USB port to work on the CRS? Any help would be very happily received! Thanks Andrew

AWS CHR licenses

In case anyone has issues activating the higher level of licenses on AWS, they have a problem which is listed as a bug. The only license level on AWS CHR is the free level for now

CHR licences

Does anyone know how to actually purchase a CHR Licence? I have an instance running on AWS without any problems at all, now I need to be able to upgrade to the P1 Licence as I need more than the 1meg limit on the free instance (love now that I will be able to run bandwidth test from a AWS instance). Thanks in advance if anyone knows what I am doing wrong. Patrick

Hey, Is there any Mikrotik device that does 5GHz wireless? In my quick scan of the product list I couldn't see one. Mikrotik NBN NNI head end router Queue issue

Hi Guys, Is anyone using a MikroTik router as an NBN head end unit? And if so have you managed to create a traffic queue scenario which satisfies the NBN 10ms peak burst rate specification http://www.nbnco.com.au/content/dam/nbnco2/documents/sfaa-wba2-product-cata… We need to be able to configure the Peak Burst Size (PBS) down to less than 10ms. Anything in excess of that is dropped by NBN traffic policing. The limitation of the MikroTik OS (and maybe hardware) is that we can only configure PBS down to 1 second (25M/second) The result is that NBN traffic policing drops packets that exceed 0.25M/10ms, significantly impacting TCP throughput and exhibiting the anticipated sawtooth throughput profile as TCP constantly ramps up and drops back due to lost packets. To make it work I think we need to be able to set a peak burst rate such that a 25M NBN service can have a peak burst rate of 0.25M per 10ms or even better would be .125M/5ms (as 10ms is the Max spec of the NBN) If anyone has this working successfully, I would love to hear how you achieved it :) Kind regards Murray Southwell Tasmanet Pty Ltd Manager - Network Services murray(a)tasmanet.com.au 0361652511 0418145979

IP PROBLEM ON CCR1072-1G-8S+

Hi All, Got a strange one. I have two CCR 1072's back to back with a short is run (1km or so) of single mode with two 10G SFP+ single mode. The SFP's and run has been previously used and again tested with Cisco equipment without fault. I have also used the same type of SFP+ with CCR1072's without fault. But except for this one setup. The problem is after a random period of time (minutes to hours) one of the CCR's stop's responding to IP. You cant Ping the CCR or connect to it locally. Console works and says all is fine but no bidirectional traffic over the interface. The exception to this is that CDP still seems to be working as you can see the broadcasts from the CCR on a dump at the other end of the link. You can also clear the arp cache at the other end and ping and the mac is re-learning indicating that something is still happening. The only fix appears to be a reboot. When the unit starts behaving normally again for a time. If you set the watchdog it happy reboots the CCR fixing the problem also. Tried 6.33.3 and also the latest RC no luck.
