Hi If you are using the Things Network have a look at: https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/country/australia/ I have had my Lora uni running with the big omni antenna for 6+ months now and not a single peep of traffic. I thought there'd be something chatting where I live rurally. The shire north of me is into it in a big way. What errors are you getting? There are the verbose exports for AU915 SUB2, SUB1 and AS923 respectively. # feb/14/2021 10:49:00 by RouterOS 6.48.1 # software id = C7LM-9GKJ # # model = RouterBOARD wAP R-2nD # serial number = 8744093983A6 /lora channels set 0 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=-400000 radio=radio0 set 1 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=-200000 radio=radio0 set 2 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=0 radio=radio0 set 3 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=200000 radio=radio0 set 4 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=-400000 radio=radio1 set 5 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=-200000 radio=radio1 set 6 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=0 radio=radio1 set 7 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=200000 radio=radio1 set 8 bandwidth=500_kHz disabled=no freq-off=300000 radio=radio0 spread-factor=\ SF8 set 9 bandwidth=125_kHz datarate=50000 disabled=yes freq-off=0 radio=radio0 [admin@LORA9] /lora channels> export verbose # feb/14/2021 10:49:50 by RouterOS 6.48.1 # software id = C7LM-9GKJ # # model = RouterBOARD wAP R-2nD # serial number = 8744093983A6 /lora channels set 0 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=-400000 radio=radio0 set 1 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=-200000 radio=radio0 set 2 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=0 radio=radio0 set 3 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=200000 radio=radio0 set 4 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=-400000 radio=radio1 set 5 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=-200000 radio=radio1 set 6 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=0 radio=radio1 set 7 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=200000 radio=radio1 set 8 bandwidth=500_kHz disabled=no freq-off=300000 radio=radio0 spread-factor=\ SF8 set 9 bandwidth=125_kHz datarate=50000 disabled=yes freq-off=0 radio=radio0 [admin@LORA9] /lora channels> export verbose # feb/14/2021 10:50:17 by RouterOS 6.48.1 # software id = C7LM-9GKJ # # model = RouterBOARD wAP R-2nD # serial number = 8744093983A6 /lora channels set 0 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=-400000 radio=radio0 set 1 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=-200000 radio=radio0 set 2 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=0 radio=radio0 set 3 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=-400000 radio=radio1 set 4 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=-200000 radio=radio1 set 5 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=0 radio=radio1 set 6 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=200000 radio=radio1 set 7 bandwidth=125_kHz disabled=no freq-off=400000 radio=radio1 set 8 bandwidth=250_kHz disabled=no freq-off=-200000 radio=radio0 \ spread-factor=SF7 set 9 bandwidth=125_kHz datarate=50000 disabled=no freq-off=300000 radio=radio0 Regards, Jason Hecker <https://www.upandrunningtech.com.au/> <https://www.upandrunningtech.com.au/> On Sun, 14 Feb 2021, at 10:36, Andrew Gilbett wrote:
Hi Guys,
Has anyone been playing with MT Lora GWs?
I am just trying to understand how the band lock works as I am getting a bunch of strange errors when trying to set up a custom channel plan (in 915-928MHZ of course) to match TTN AS923-AS1 https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/docs/lorawan/frequency-plans.html as the builtin AS923 is a bit different.
EG.
/lora radios> set 0 center-freq=923000000 disabled=no rssi-off=-166 tx-enabled=yes tx-freq-max=923400000 tx-freq-min=920000000 failure: Radio 0 Tx min freq. below 923.0 MHz
It seems a little restrictive to have the min at 923MHz...
I have also noticed that the unit will TX on a frequency which is not on the channel list, which means the downlinks do not work correctly... EG TX on 923.3MHz which is not on the channel list with the builtin AS923 channel plan.
Anyone with any insights would be appreciated!
