I should add the USB-CDC serial mode with PPP worked in ROS6. USB-ECM wouldn't work as a certain AT command needed to be sent. Mikrotik logged in from Latvia and checked it out but wouldn't commit to sending this command to get the ECM interface moving data properly through Mikrotik's LTE interface even though it did come up. So this was with the LE910 a few years ago, more recent firmware for the LE910 and newer xE910 modems might be better. MBIM should be fine with it but of course only on ROS7. I had been playing with a B28 Telit LE910 from https://www.glynstore.com/wireless-cellular/ a while back. Have a look at the old messages in this forum. I had it working in USB-Serial/PPP mode and was waiting for ROS7 and MBIM mode support but haven't tried that. The Telit's are meant for robust industrial applications so are a good fit for Mikrotik.
Glyn have a technical/engineering/sales person in Melbourne. I also have Glyn's firmware programming and serial breakout board for the Telits I can sell to you for less than their price. PM me.

Good afternoon Mailing list,
I am just emailing see if anyone out there has suggestions on LTE modems that support band 28 work well with Mikrotik devices? We are seeking to find a mini-PCIe modem that will work on router OS 6 without needing to do to much to get it working as well as offer existing functionalitys like passthrough ect that we can certify and offer a cheaper solution when compared to the Chateau.
As well as this any feedback on what devices you would like to see support the band 28 card or any information on how the most comman installation you would be using this device and the functionality you would need will greatly help us in our desisions on what device/s we would certify.
Regards Aidan :)
