I discovered this helpful item the other month #debugging ROS Script :global runcheck "true" :do { :resolve thisdomainwillnotresolve.com } on-error={:set runcheck "false" } :put "did that succeed: $runcheck" Just remember variable declarations will travel inside of scopes but not back out. - Andrew On Thu, Apr 21, 2016 at 12:43 PM, Mike Everest <mike@duxtel.com> wrote:
Only one person willing to make a guess?
Nice try Jason, but not the right answer :-D
Here it is:
"We already support that functionality since routerOS v6.11, but it is not yet documented and not yet available in the GUIs"
Look at "interface wireless interworking-profiles ?"
Now I don't profess to offer any warranty as to whether it adheres to the relevant standards, but according to MT, it is a working implementation of Hotspot2.0
There you go - leads me to wonder how many other hidden gems are already available in rOS that can only be discovered by working through the shell using liberal application of 'question mark'? Should we throw down a challenge to members of this list to find some more? ;)
Cheers!
Mike.

I'll Hazard a guess:
* It's coming in ROS7
or
* Pffft Ruckus Schmukus, use CAPSMAN.

Hi All,
Anyone here know much about Hotspot 2.0? It's some kind of wireless authentication scheme that is intended to support wide area handoff between disparate and independent wifi networks that has been billed by some as a "new generation of wifi access technology"
I know that some vendors, like Ruckus in particular, have made a big deal of support for this functionality, and a recent question received by our sales team prompted me to ask MT whether there were any plans to implement Hotspot 2.0 for routerOS.
Who can guess their reply?? :-D
