Hi All, I have had success with a Netcomm NF4V I had Telstra turn up saying I needed to buy their $240 Modem , I instead installed the NetComm NF4V in "ADSL Bridge mode" a week before the VDSL cut over . On the day of cutover , I defaulted the NF4V , set it into VDSL Bridge mode & it hasn't missed a beat. So a tick for the NF4V in both ADSL & VDSL ( ADSL was obliviously using PPPoE Client , & to set up VDSL I removed the PPPoE client just applied a DHCP client on that WAN interface ! ) On 2017-07-14 18:40, Jason Hecker (Up & Running Tech) wrote:
I have a DM200 (with latest firmware - check Netgear's site) I use for testing VDSL2 connections. I have yet to deploy it in anger as everyone seems to be getting a new modem sent to them from their ISP but the connection speed it reports is consistent with the fancy test unit the NBN techs have. Did not use it in bridge mode yet, although it can do it.

That was my go to modem after the TD8817. It's not as easy to configure but it's pretty reliable in my opinion, and has a nice small footprint like the 8817. As far as bridge mode out of the box, I don't think it is, off the top of my head, but I'm sure there would be a way to save a configure and flash them before shipping?
