Just a FYI on this guys: All changing the Full Duplex/Speed settings is doing in new chipsets is changing the advertised features. The old method was to change the port characteristics and disable advertising capabilities, hence why a port locked at 100/FULL to a partner of 100/AUTO would always come up at 100/HALF. This new method negotiates capabilities and they then settle on the best mutual combination available.

Hi,
Is it omniTik-U or omniTik-UPA? Are they long cables?
Have you tried locking ports to full/100 manually?
Cheers, Mike.

Hi guys, I have posted before to this email list about an issue we have at customer site where direct Ethernet connections between wireless routers (1 x CPE and 1 x AP back to back) all of a sudden drop from full duplex to half duplex mode, even though they are hard set to 100M full.
