Hi all, I know there was some talk a while back about modems in bridge mode for ADSL and there were a few suggestions. With the loss of the TPLink TD8817 now and no replacement in sight at this point we are searching for other options for a reliable low cost ADSL modem just for bridging. The TPLink was great because it was in bridge mode straight out of the box, this meant that you could just shop it to a customer with no need for configuration of any kind, it would be great to find another modem which was already in bridge mode as it's standard configuration. We have been looking at the Netgear DM200 which is an ADSL2/VDSL2 modem, it has promise but is triple the price of the TPLink. What are people's thoughts on the DM200 if you have used one ? are they worth the money as an ADSL modem ? I think they would be worth it for VDSL but I can't help but think there should be a good ADSL modem cheaper than that, even the Draytek modems are a lot more than the TPLink. I would be interested in peoples thoughts on this as I am now at zero stock levels and need new modems yesterday J Thanks Paul
