Paul We use PIPE/TPG DSLAMS and have no issue with multilink. Here is the lines out of one of our 7301's: interface Virtual-Template1 ip unnumbered Loopback1 ip access-group CLIENTS_IN_ACL in ip nat inside peer default ip address pool <IPPOOL> keepalive 1 3 ppp authentication pap ppp ipcp dns <DNS1> <DNS2> ppp multilink ppp multilink endpoint hostname ppp multilink fragment disable multilink bundle-name authenticated vpdn enable vpdn-group 1 ! Default L2TP VPDN group accept-dialin protocol l2tp virtual-template 1 local name LNS lcp renegotiation always l2tp ignore tx-speed l2tp tunnel password 0 <PASSWORD> on the client end the RB750 is a breeze. -----Original Message----- From: Public [mailto:public-bounces@talk.mikrotik.com.au] On Behalf Of Paul Julian Sent: Thursday, 31 July 2014 11:31 PM To: 'MikroTik Australia Public List' Subject: Re: [MT-AU Public] PPP Multilink on Telstra ADSL2 OK Thanks, yeh already have that setup, will try another dslam and see if I have any luck ! It's pretty standard config, just make sure you have 'ppp multilink' on your virtual template and you must use "multilink bundle-name auth". Did you find there were any tricks needed for the bundling setup on the LNS or was it standard stuff ? We are running a Cisco 7301 as our LNS and we have the multilink bundle-name defined. I admit that I have only been able to try it on one dslam but do have an opportunity to try again hence the question initially. There are sometimes issues with Telstra dslam's locking ports and there are also sometimes pauses in data transfer. Different locations work at differing degrees of success, which probably comes down to whether your connections are both on the same dslam and the also the type of dslam (Telstra for example have various dslams throughout their network). Multiple logins of the same username, is also a requirement due to MikroTik implementation. Not a problem for us as we also run the back end LNS network ;) -----Original Message----- From: Public [mailto:public-bounces@talk.mikrotik.com.au] On Behalf Of Paul Julian Sent: Thursday, 31 July 2014 8:10 PM To: public@talk.mikrotik.com.au Subject: [MT-AU Public] PPP Multilink on Telstra ADSL2 Just wondering if anybody has successfully implemented the Mikrotik PPP Multilink setup through Telstra DSLAM's before ? We can't seem to get it to work, nothing we do seems to make the second link come up, I'm not sure if it's a Telstra thing or a Mikrotik thing Anybody had any luck with it ?
