Hi Daniel. I would not say it should not be done, you just have to know the limitations that may affect your plans: - Fastpath only works RX on bonding interfaces (LAG's) - There is no MPLS Fast Re-Route - BFD is broken in RouterOS v6 If you can work around these, you will find that MPLS is very stable on RouterOS. The above limitations should be resolved in RouterOS v7, which we will hopefully see beta's of in the next few months. On Wed, Nov 18, 2015 at 9:52 AM, Daniel Hoffman <daniel@hoff.id.au> wrote:
Anyone using MPLS and CCR or RoS-x86 at any scale in AU
I have a backbone that's been extending and upgrading soon to be 10gbe and 5 POPs. just wondering if some CCR1072 and just l2 switching would be viable so cope with the mixed BW links and path management. I also need to use the switches to terminate the fibre based on a number of SFP and distance discussions.
The plan to this point is Telco Systems, Juniper or Similar but thought I'd ask even tho I think I know the answer which is "not to do it".
