Hi ROS/Mikrotek don't do multi chasis lag. AFAIK They do have LACP, VRRP but no MLAG. MLAG is the ability to do LACP across 2 physical devices. Definitely find MLAG and separate switches is much better than stacked switches. Is it possible in some form of configuration to have a pair of say CRS226 operating in a stack-like fashion, so as to say do a LAG to another pair of switches for redundancy.
ie:
