The entire MIPS-BE line is about due for a refresh, hopefully with the Qualcomm IPQ processor. The IPQ performs brilliantly in the 3011, and will allow for 802.11ac Wave2 as well as hardware crypto acceleration. On Wed, Aug 24, 2016 at 8:21 PM, Mike Everest <mike@duxtel.com> wrote:
Hi Jason,
A bit of both I think.
Ever since midsummer holiday, normal order processing times shot out from 2-3 days up to 10 (business days) pretty fast ;)
But just in the last couple of weeks, we are seeing certain products drop off the production radar - so that when we go to order them, their estimated manufacturing run is three weeks along, then a week later it's six weeks, and counting :-l
2011 series only just started blowing out like this - they used to be quite available, and we could get some with every consignment without any dramas. Now 2011uias-2HnD is delayed until end of Sep, and may even go longer once everyone starts trying to increase stock levels to deal with it :-}
OR, it might be a good sign - in the past, delays on a given model was an indication that an upgrade was on the horizon. Don't hold your breath, but delays of 2011UiAS-2HnD may mean that the new (and very much overdue) 3011 variant is about to hit....
Yeah, but just keep breathing normally for now :-D
Cheers!
Mike.

Is it a parts supply problem or a northern summer holidays problem?

Yah,
It's a total PITA :-/

Mike.
wAP are not available until October! And some, like SXT-LTE, not even until November.
RB3011 are only just starting to flow through - we'll get our backorder from January next week, and then further backordered units each couple of weeks after that...
<sigh> that's what happens when we have such growth in demand ;)
Cheers!
Mike.

Mmm, not good, we are also waiting on 3011 but it's not as important, I just really need some of the 2011's if I can get them, if we can't then the customer will just have to wait.

Hi All, I urgently need 4 or preferably 5 of these routers for an urgent job and unfortunately they are out of stock for a couple of weeks still.
Would anybody have stock that they could sell me by any chance ?

We'll have some about 12th Sep.
Those models are manufacturing delay - as in we can't get any (and have lots on backorder even ;) - so not surprised that most suppliers are out :(
Watch out too - there are several other models that are going the same way
