Yeah they work perfectly :) I have one at home which is permanently connected (PPTP with OSPF, alongside our ADSL which also runs PPTP with OSPF). I actually modified the config on the one at home to put it into a /29 so it fitted into my existing ip allocations. I also have one plugged into the two mAP's that I use for my 'travel router' in my backpack.
