Hi Darryl, We found them to sync at notably lower speeds than most VDSL modems, and get extremely hot. We decided to use simple VDSL2 modems that can be put in bridge mode and connected them to MikroTik routers. It's not as neat, but has been a pretty solid solution for us. Another option to consider is that the NBN technology switch program has a special deal at the moment that makes it cheaper to switch some (not all) premises to FttP - contact me directly if you want me to check the address for you. I'm probably preaching to the choir here, but FttP is a far superior connection technology that is far more stable and predictable. I'm planning on dropping RB760iGS into each store. I see on the duxtel site that the VSDL SFP module has passed compliance testing in September, does that mean it's now been approved for use on the NBN or just that its compliant with the specs? Anyone had issues running one in the desktop MTs? -Darryl _______________________________________________ Public mailing list Public@talk.mikrotik.com.au http://talk.mikrotik.com.au/mailman/listinfo/public_talk.mikrotik.com.au
