I notice BFD isn’t currently supported according to https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ROS/v7+Routing+Protocol+Status, so the only things I could currently upgrade are also things that aren’t running in a redundant arrangement, so wouldn’t want to upgrade them first.. Hopefully doesn’t take them long to get BFD support happening :) —DG On Wed, 8 Dec 2021 at 9:53 am, Denis Hancock <denis.hancock@samurai.com.au> wrote:

I have it running on my RB3011, I have noticed CPU usage is peaking quite a bit higher (not to any point where its affecting performance) and device backup files are smaller than their 6.x counterparts. All *seems* to be working ok, my CAPsMAN AP's are registering devices correctly, OpenVPN is working ok. Only probelm is I had to remove and re-add all my NTP servers as it didnt seems to want to talk to the ones imported from the 6.49 config I had, once I re-added the ntp.org ones it synced right up. So far so good. On 08-12-2021 09:47, Andrew Gilbett wrote:

I've had 7.1 running on a CCR2004-1G-12S-2XS since about release candidate 4 without any issues (albeit with a comparatively simple configuration). Sucks about the missing features such as BFD, but I'm expecting those will come along in fairly short order. In fact if I were a betting person, I'd wager that one or more of the head honchos at MikroTik put the screws on the team to get a v7.x stable release out the door by the end of 2021, and that's why there's a few things still missing.
