Hi, according to Duxtel some 60Ghz kit has already flown out the door, who is using it and what's it like ? I am looking for some real world experience on the new LHG 60 Ghz gear. What is it like in the real world ? What distance are you comfortably seeing from it ? What about colocation on the same mast ? Thanks Paul
Hi Paul, We have been using a pair for about 2 weeks now - over a 65 metres gap between offices. Far end is about 20 metres higher than closer end. Took out of box, mounted on mast, co located with older Duxlink. Have not angled down/up - just pointed by eye at other end. Powered on, and they haven’t missed a beat. Haven’t run any bandwidth tests yet, but comparing a speed test before and after, showed 8ms ping before, to 6ms ping after. Transferring a large file “feels” faster - but as I said, no chance yet to do proper bandwidth testing. Just as transparent as the older Duxlink. Duxlink was powered on for a day, but we have powered them down now, and they will be a emergency link. Hope this helps, regards Mark Voevodin

Thanks Mark, sounds good, I would be keen to here about performance if you get the chance to test soon.
