Hi list, Band 28 (700mhz) is the craze today with providers upgrading their towers. I don't have a LHG LTE kit, but I was wondering if the internal miniPCI-e slot LTE card is removable so I can use a card that supports band 28. I was thinking Sierra card. No sure if the LHG has the drivers to handle other cards. Thanks Kilburn
I have been testing one CAT1 LE910 module from a range of Telit modules that does band 28. These modules are available from Glyn ( http://www.glynstore.com/telit-mini-pcie-xe910/) BUT alas it's not going to work at all until ROS7. An older version worked with PPP USB/serial mode but not in USB/ETH mode. You'd have to talk to them about other models that do CAT4. Normis is currently saying Real Soon Now Pinkie Promise for ROS7. I get the feeling ROS7 might *actually* be happening RSN, as they're now breaking IPSEC configuration with warnings of 'This is deprecated in RouterOS v7' On Sun, 2 Dec 2018 at 09:09, Jason Hecker (Up & Running Tech) < jason@upandrunningtech.com.au> wrote:
