Hi all, has anybody successfully run more than one device off a USB port on a routerboard ? We need to connect a USB cable for a UPS and a 4G USB modem as well and just wondering if the routerboards will address more than one device on a port if we used a USB hub Thanks Paul
It is likely to work but make sure it's a powered hub as the Mikrotik may not supply enough current to drive all 3 devices (including the hub). On 27 April 2017 at 15:02, Paul Julian <paul@oxygennetworks.com.au> wrote:

Thanks Jason, I suppose I will just give it a try if I can't find another option and see what happens :-) Thanks Paul -----Original Message----- From: Public [mailto:public-bounces@talk.mikrotik.com.au] On Behalf Of Jason Hecker (Up & Running Tech) Sent: Thursday, 27 April 2017 3:18 PM To: MikroTik Australia Public List Subject: Re: [MT-AU Public] USB Ports on Routerboards It is likely to work but make sure it's a powered hub as the Mikrotik may not supply enough current to drive all 3 devices (including the hub).
