Hi guys, just wondering if anybody who uses the Mikrotik Hotspot system has ever been able to successfully export the hotspot server entries ? You can export everything else it seems but the actual hotspot servers themselves. Has anybody come across a way around this ? It seems to be an issue with a full export and just the hotspot branch export. Regards Paul
Hey Paul, We haven't had any problems exporting and reimporting config; you just need to remember that the files in use for profiles etc need to be added/uploaded before that part of the script runs. There was also an issue with importing SSL certs via a script. Could you perhaps include a sanitised version of what you're exporting so we can see where it's going wrong? I will try and replicate here. - Andrew On 4 November 2014 14:05, Paul Julian <paul@oxygennetworks.com.au> wrote:

Thanks for your reply Andrew, you were very close to pointing me in the right direction, the hotspot servers won't create unless the interface exists and I hadn't got to that part of the import as yet, I suppose this is fair enough, but I had trouble actually finding the servers in the export because they started with the line "add ip-pool=blah", they were there in the jumble though :-) Thanks for your help !
