Hi I think I have a dead CCR1036, well I have power cycled a few times and it is non responsive, haven't placed a console on it yet. I was going to replace with a new one. But I got to thinking, a) what's the warranty on these, I had presumed 12 months, pretty sure mine is older than 12 months, checked out the web site and couldn't find any details b) how would one go about fixing one of these, is it worth it for the cost, maybe the new ccr1072's maybe? Hi Alex, I know the manufacturer's warranty is 12 months, and if not it's close to it. Hi Alex, There is repair option, but requires shipping back to base (Latvia) and return to you again. There is no guarantee that they will be able to repair (though they /usually/ do! :-) Maybe it's a power supply issue? We have spare power supplies in stock - perhaps you can send it to us to try, and then if that doesn't sort it out, we can talk about returning to Latvia to try a repair? Cheers, Mike. Incidentally, something else that you might like to consider is refurbished gear. Since we replace warranty gear from stock, when equipment comes back to us after warranty repair, the unit goes into our 'refurbished stock' inventory - it is available for purchase at about 65-75% of the retail value. If your unit can be repaired, we may be able to work out some arrangement where we let you have one of our refurbished units (if available) for about the price of repair and shipping -= then when your unit comes back to us, it goes in to replace the refurbished stock ;) Let us know if you are interested in exploring that option further.
