Hi, I have a situation where I may need to use DSL to get data around a site using existing phone pairs. Aside from using the Proscend modules which work well, can anyone suggest good makes and models of VDSL2 DSLAMs? I only need about 12 ports. Hi Jason, We have found Zyxel VDSL2 Dslams to be the best so far, a 24 port one is about $2500 or so. If you want something cheaper you can get an 8 Port Planet VC-820M which is about $1000 or so. Planet also sell a VC-231G bridge which is very good, you can install one of those on each end of a copper pair and get a Vectored connection. Could for individual connections or you can use a number of them as well if you won't want to use a DSLAM, but you have very limited visibility of the bridges, but the DSLAM's give you more information about the connections. I have used the Proscend SFP VDSL pairs from Duxtel with success on RB260s. I could maybe stick 12 of them in a CRS212-1G-10S-1S+IN. It'd surely melt! Regards, Jason Hecker <https://www.upandrunningtech.com.au/> <https://www.upandrunningtech.com.au/> On Mon, 2 Sep 2019, at 11:19, Paul Julian wrote:

Hi Jason, If you are intending to use Proscend/Metanoia VDSL modules, then it would make sense to try to source Proscend/Metanoia DSLAM - not aware of any AU sellers though, and you'd need to check the usual AU compliance for them :-} Regards, Mike.
