Hello Damien! The article already includes instructions for that - click the link text "Request non-warranty firmware update here" :-) https://shop.duxtel.com.au/article_info.php?articles_id=98 Essentially that form submits to support@duxtel.com, so you could just as easily send email direct to support with serial numbers of the devices you wish to submit : ) Cheers, Mike.

Ohhhhhh that text is a link!!! I was looking for the link and instructions like the ones before it had - it looked like there was just text missing, as the paragraph following just cuts off mid-sentence :) Will organise to pull the module out tonight and grab the serial :) Thanks, Damien On Mon, 21 Jun 2021 at 4:05 pm, Mike Everest <mike@duxtel.com> wrote:

Just got this from Draytek: As you may be aware, NBN Co will be implementing a SOS (Save our Showtime) and ROC (Robust Overhead Channel) upgrade of VDSL2 (FTTN/FTTB) services (SOS/ROC Upgrade). The purpose of the upgrade is to prevent dropouts due to sudden large noise bursts, thereby improving service stability. The SOS/ROC Upgrade was expected to commence on 1 July 2021 but now has been pushed back to 31 January 2022. Later model VDSL2 routers such as the Vigor2765 and Vigor2865 series routers fully support the new NBN requirements but will need to be enabled manually via a telnet command. Older model routers such as the Vigor2760, Vigor2860 series and Vigor130 will require firmware updates to support this new requirement. The Vigor2762 and Vigor 2862 will provide a stable VDSL2 connection with the current firmware but DrayTek will also be working on providing updated firmware for these models. DrayTek routers affected by this change should continue to operate normally until then. We will keep you updated in the coming months with new developments as they become available.
Fantastic news, thanks Mike! Can you also confirm, will all purchased units from now be shipped with the updated firmware? Is there any way to tell from my end what firmware it's running? On Mon, 21 Jun 2021 at 12:34, Damien Gardner Jnr <rendrag@rendrag.net> wrote:

Hi Tim, Yes - all devices shipped after today will have the updated firmware already installed : ) It is possible to determine/check firmware version by vendor software tool - please send request to support@duxtel.com for more details on that :-} Regards, Mike.
