The Wireless Cube Pro has several LEDs - power, network activity, and five signal strength indicators. It also has an LED (in between the power and network LEDs) the function of which is a mystery. I'm *guessing* that it illuminates if the link fails over to 5GHz, but the icon does not help - it's an upside down teardrop with a stylised head and shoulders in it. Any clues? I did look through what doco I could find, to no avail. Not sure if the attached image will survive the mailing list; just in case, it's also here for the next day or so: https://www.biplane.com.au/kauer/miscellaneous/wireless_cube_60Pro_LEDs.jpg Regards, K. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Karl Auer (kauer@nullarbor.com.au, he/him) work +61 2 64957435 http://www.nullarbor.com.au mobile +61 428 957160 Please feel free to deal with this email during your own working hours.
Hi Karl, I would assume that it is the user LED and controllable by various methods. The user LED can be set it to do things via a script, or commonly you can set it via the System - LEDs menu. Click the plus to add a config item, set the LED to user-led and pick some options. I commonly set it to the interface status of PPPoE connections on routers as a nice quick way of telling if it’s up. Cheers, Andrew
